Airway EX - 2016
I was the Art Director/ Principal Artist of Airway EX. Besides overseeing Art Direction, I handled tasks such as scene setup, lighting, modeling, and additional engine implementation in Unity.
The Goal of Airway EX was to make a game focused on difficult airway situations that a doctor may encounter. This gives them a chance to practice and try different techniques digitally vs attempting them on a patient. The gameplay camera was designed to replicate the intubation scope.
The product is ‘CME’ certified (Continued Medical Education) which means it’s approved for helping those in the medical field maintain competence and learn about new and developing areas of their field. Doctors can earn credit playing this product, which is pretty cool.
